The Southwestern Tri-County Area of Nova Scotia currently does not have an active Chapter of the Schizophrenia Society of Nova Scotia (SSNS).  The provincial office of the SSNS can be of help in answering questions of a general nature, or in providing information for anyone interested in starting or contributing to a Chapter of the SSNS in the Southwestern Tri-County Area.

Information regarding local resources and services within the Southwestern Tri-County Area may also be provided by Mental Health Services of South West Health.  South West Health is the District Health Authority responsible for health services in Digby, Yarmouth, and Shelburne Counties of Nova Scotia.  Mental Health Centres are located in Digby (245-4709), Yarmouth (742-4222), and Shelburne (875-4200).  The Mental Health Centres can be contacted directly for information, or for a referral for services.
